Editorial Policy

1. Human oversight, not auto-publishing
GoodNature.ai does not publish content at scale without human review. Every guide goes through a three-step process:
- Drafting: Research from reputable sources such as product safety sheets, manufacturer instructions, and established cleaning guidance.
- Human review: Reviewed by our editor for accuracy, safety, clarity, and originality. We test instructions in real homes where possible.
- Final check: Checked for safety risks, duplicate content, and readability before publishing.
2. What we publish
We publish only practical, non-medical, non-hazardous household care guidance:
- Everyday cleaning and organizing methods using common household products
- How to reduce product use, avoid common mistakes, and test on small areas first
- When to stop and call a professional (e.g., mold larger than 10 sq ft, electrical, plumbing)
We do not publish instructions for mixing hazardous chemicals, medical cleaning advice, or pest control using restricted substances.
3. Originality and value
We do not scrape or re-publish content. All guides are written in our own words, structured from our own testing and organization systems. Where we reference a safety standard, we cite the source and add our own explanation and safety note. We do not use keyword stuffing or write for search engines — we write for a person trying to clean their home simply.
4. Fact-checking and sources
We check:
- Product label warnings and dilution ratios
- Safety data (e.g., never mix bleach + vinegar, bleach + ammonia, bleach + rubbing alcohol)
- Surface compatibility (e.g., vinegar can etch natural stone, marble, cast iron)
If we are uncertain, we include a safety note and recommend testing or consulting the manufacturer.
5. Corrections and updates
Household products and safety guidance change. We review popular guides every 6 months. If you find an error, email hello@idwol.com or see our Corrections Policy. We correct factual errors promptly and note the correction at the bottom of the article with the date.
6. No cloaking, no link schemes
We show the same content to users and to search crawlers (Bingbot, Googlebot). We do not buy links, participate in private blog networks, or exchange links for ranking. Any affiliate or external links (when used) are clearly disclosed and only added when they provide genuine additional value.
7. Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools for research assistance and drafting outlines, but every article is human-edited, fact-checked, and approved before publication. We do not publish large-scale automatically generated content without human oversight. The final responsibility for accuracy lies with our human editorial team.
8. Transparency
