Our commitment to accuracy
At GoodNature.ai, based in Austin, Texas, we strive to provide accurate, safe, and practical household cleaning guidance. Every guide is human-reviewed, tested in a real home where possible, and checked for safety risks before publication. See our Editorial Policy for our full review process.
What we correct
We correct:
- Factual errors (e.g., incorrect dilution ratios, wrong surface compatibility)
- Safety omissions (e.g., missing warning about not mixing bleach with vinegar, ammonia, or rubbing alcohol)
- Clarity issues that could lead to misuse
- Broken links or outdated product information
How we handle corrections
- Report: Email hello@idwol.com or use our Contact page with subject "Correction". Include the URL, what is wrong, and your suggested fix or source if you have one.
- Review: Our editorial team reviews the report within 2-3 business days, checks product labels, manufacturer instructions, and safety sheets.
- Fix: If confirmed, we update the article promptly.
- Disclosure: For significant factual or safety corrections, we add a note at the bottom of the article: "Corrected on [Date]: [What was changed]"
Updates vs. corrections
We review popular guides every 6 months to ensure they remain accurate and safe. Minor updates for clarity, formatting, or adding a helpful tip are not listed as corrections. Only factual or safety-related changes receive a formal correction note.
Transparency
We do not hide corrections. We do not use cloaking — we show the same corrected content to users and to search crawlers (Bingbot, Googlebot). We do not buy links or participate in link schemes to hide errors.
