Who we are
GoodNature.ai is a small, independent editorial site based in Austin, Texas. We started the site because most cleaning advice online is either too complicated, too product-heavy, or unsafe (like recommending mixing bleach and vinegar). We wanted plain-English guidance for real homes, small apartments, and busy families across the U.S.
Our editor has 5+ years writing practical household care guides and tests every method in a real home before publishing. We focus on: using fewer products, avoiding common safety mistakes, and organizing with what you already have.
Our experience (E-E-A-T)
- Experience: We test cleaning routines in small homes with limited storage — the tips come from real use, not theory. For example, our guide on organizing cleaning supplies in a small home was tested in a 2-bedroom apartment in Austin.
- Expertise: We research product labels, manufacturer safety sheets, and established safety guidance (e.g., CDC cleaning guidance, EPA Safer Choice). We never recommend mixing bleach with vinegar, ammonia, or rubbing alcohol.
- Authoritativeness: Every guide lists its last review date and links to our Editorial Policy and Corrections Policy.
- Trustworthiness: We show the same content to users and search crawlers, we do not buy links, and we clearly state when a method requires professional help (e.g., mold larger than 10 sq ft, electrical work).
How we work
1. Research – Read product instructions and safety warnings.
2. Test – Try the method in a real kitchen/bathroom, note what fails.
3. Human review – Edit for clarity, safety, and originality.
4. Update – Re-check popular guides every 6 months.
We may use AI tools to help outline research, but every final article is human-written, human-tested, and human-approved. We do not publish auto-generated content at scale without human oversight.
Why goodnature.ai exists
We believe clean homes should be simple, safe, and low-waste. You don't need 15 different sprays. Our most popular guides — like building a basic cleaning kit with only a few items and cleaning your whole home with fewer products — reflect that philosophy.
